Voices Films enables especially talented writers and directors to be heard and to connect with the international arthouse audience

Voices Films was founded in Berlin in 2022 by producer Margarita Amineva-Jester, alumna of the German Film & TV Academy Berlin (DFFB). In 2026, director and producer Kristina Shtubert, also a DFFB alumna, joined the company as a producer.

Voices Films develops and produces author-driven fiction and documentary films from Germany and abroad. Based in Berlin, the company works on purely German projects as well as international co-productions, collaborating with both German filmmakers and directors from other countries, with a particular focus on voices from post-Soviet regions.

The company is committed to supporting emerging talents and bringing socially relevant, artistically distinctive, and universally resonant stories to a global audience.
